Dark conspiracies, buried secrets and counter-intelligence are the order of the day in Stuff of Dreams’ 2017 production, Anglian Mist.
A notable author and historian specialising in the Cold War is giving a lecture on the secret research that was carried out on Orford Ness. However, when an elderly woman in the crowd stands up and denounces his claims regarding the true nature of Orford Ness’s military installation, his talk begins to unravel.
What follows is a tense new psychological thriller as a Cold War plot is brought kicking and screaming into the light of day with chilling consequences for all involved.
Inspired by the vast concert pagodas and desolate beauty of Orford Ness, this unique production made its world premiere with an immersive theatre experience performed on the Ness itself, before touring the East of England this autumn.
